Is Facegloss a vegan and Cruelty free cosmetic brand?

Of course! We are a vegan and Cruelty free brand, that is, our products do not contain ingredients of animal origin nor are they tested on animals. Facegloss cares about the environment throughout its value chain, although we do not base our message on it. Our focus is to formulate products that find the perfect balance between science and nature and that offer excellent results.

Are our products suitable for pregnant/nursing women?

 

This is one of the questions that you have asked us the most. And if! If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, don't worry, friend. You can enjoy all our products without any problem. All our products comply with safety regulations and standards in this regard, and do not contain controversial ingredients that could cause adverse effects on pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Are our products suitable for acne-prone skin?

Of course! They are non-comedogenic products, that is, they do not contain ingredients that can potentially clog the pore. Additionally, Cloud Foaming Cleanser, Chill Toning Mist and Superglow Serum are oil-free.

Our Glasskin Serum contains squalane. However, the risk of it being comedogenic is practically non-existent since it is super light and not greasy at all. Squalane is very respectful and responds very well to the skin and, by mixing it with niacinamide, we make it 100% suitable for acne-prone skin.

On the other hand, our Feels Like Water Cream It contains Jojoba Oil, an oil suitable and highly recommended for combination, oily and acne-prone skin as it helps control the overproduction of sebum. Additionally, it has antimicrobial properties. And the same thing, when combined with Niacinamide, makes it suitable and highly recommended.

And you may wonder, why do we use oils in our products? Because we want to offer products that are suitable for acne-prone skin, that will not worsen acne and that will not lead to it, but at the same time that will not dry out the skin. For this reason, we like to have moisturizing and emollient ingredients that leave skin healthy and glowing, but at the same time do not produce excess sebum or pimples.

 

 Are these products suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes friend, they are suitable because they are very gentle products, very soft and very gentle on the skin, which is the key to keeping the skin calm. Furthermore, despite containing perfume, it is suitable for sensitive skin, since relevant studies confirm that skin tolerance is very good!!

Do our products contain fragrance?

Yes friend… and what a fragrance! It is unique, since it has been created exclusively for the brand. Yes, our products are suitable for all skin types with the exception of our Feels like Water moisturizing cream, since if you have dry skin it could fall short.

The textures we have achieved are light and pleasant, but at the same time they have a lot of body. This means that they are suitable for oily, combination or dry skin (except the cream).
